Nimanee Harris, MPH, is a Senior Research Scientist in the Patient-Centered Outcomes Assessment group within RTI-HS. Ms. Harris has more than 14 years of clinical trial and behavioral research experience, particularly in managing and overseeing large clinical trials (phase 2-4) in a variety of therapeutic areas, as well as conducting qualitative research interviews that help with the development and /or modification of critical patient-reported outcome (PRO) questionnaires. In addition to project management, Ms. Harris has experience in a wide range of technical tasks within PRO, including the conduct of qualitative research and large literature and instrument reviews; the development of study protocols, technical reports, regulatory documents, and Food and Drug Administration (FDA) submissions; the coordination of investigator and interviewer training; user acceptance testing and script development; and the global coordination of translations. Therapeutic areas in which she has worked include chronic pain (diabetic peripheral neuropathy, fibromyalgia, osteoarthritis, postherpetic pain, and lower back pain), neuroscience (insomnia and excessive daytime sleepiness), oncology (breast, cervical, bladder, and lung), respiratory (asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease), gastroenterology, nutrition, neurology (ALS), rare diseases, dermatology (pruritus and atopic dermatitis), and women's health (dysmenorrhea). Prior to joining RTI-HS, Ms. Harris worked within the PRO Center of Excellence at Pfizer.
