Rosalind Carney has held positions as an adjunct professor of Anatomy and Physiology, a biology editor for a US national college-level assessment in biology, and a features editor for an open-access journal published by the Society for Neuroscience. She currently works on literature reviews at RTI-HS. Before joining RTI-HS, Dr. Carney was a senior medical writer for medical communication agencies in the United Kingdom. In these agencies, she was the primary writer for multiple publications, including systematic literature reviews and manuscripts, abstracts, and posters relating to patient claims databases and qualitative survey data. Additionally, she contributed to medical affairs deliverables for several global pharmaceutical companies. Dr. Carney holds several certifications relating to medical writing and publications, including Certified Medical Publication Professional (CMPP™; International Society for Medical Publications Professionals), Medical Writer Certified (MWC®; American Medical Writers Association), and Certified Editor in the Life Sciences (ELS; Board of Editors in the Life Sciences).
