Shahnaz Khan has extensive clinical writing experience includes preparation of protocols, clinical study reports, and manuscripts in the areas of rare diseases, ophthalmology, infectious diseases, cardiovascular disease, endocrinology, urology, gynecology, oncology, hematology, neurology, and gastroenterology. In addition to her focus on literature reviews and pricing and reimbursement dossiers, she has considerable experience in the production of corporate health economics and outcomes research communication materials. In her role at RTI-HS, Ms. Khan regularly leads the development of literature reviews and US pricing and reimbursement dossiers. She has more than 23 years of experience working in medical communications, has earned a certificate in medical writing (pharmaceutical track) from the American Medical Writers Association, and has completed Cochrane certification for conducting intervention reviews. Prior to joining RTI-HS, she worked in clinical writing at two different contract research organizations. Ms. Khan attends Academy of Managed Care Pharmacy (AMCP) meetings and AMCP/Foundation for Managed Care Pharmacy (FMCP)–sponsored seminars on a regular basis in order to remain up-to-date on the latest news regarding AMCP dossiers.
